Keynote: How IT is AV?

Whether it’s AV for a streamed conference and professional collaboration or it’s the sound and lighting for an international music tour, AV needs to work with IT teams and to leverage technology to get the job done right and ensure a high quality experience. Whichever you started with learning (software or audio engineering) the worlds of information technology and audiovisual technology are merging and converging in real-time, with less and less lag.  This session will discuss the art and science of the AV and IT experience, the left and right brain of creativity within a framework, and share some examples of how to think about it with perspectives and experiences from big tech, entrepreneurship, daily tech, and live production.

Classroom of the Future

What does the classroom of the future look and sound like? This panel will explore the types of technology hybrid classrooms need to succeed, discuss how to evaluate pro AV gear for future-proofed classrooms, and more.

Project Management for All

Strong project management skills are the key to success for AV installations. Moderated by AV Technology's Cindy Davis, Dawn Meade, Senior AV Architect, Project Manager at Northrop Grumman, and Jonathan Owens, a Senior Consultant at Shen Milsom & Wilke will define the entire team’s role—whether it’s a sales executive, CEO, or an actual project manager—in project management, how to handle a client’s expectations versus realities, and more.
